Star Blaster

A Galaga-style space shooter. Cute glossy aliens fly in, sway in formation and peel off in looping dive attacks while you dodge their shots at the bottom of the screen. Catch double-shot, rapid-fire and shield power-ups, clear wave after wave, and take down a crowned boss with a health bar every fifth wave. Your best score is saved on this device.

How to play

Move your ship left and right along the bottom and shoot the alien formation. Aliens that dive at you are worth double points. Dodge enemy shots and divers; you have 3 lives. Catch falling power-ups: 2X double shot and rapid fire last 10 seconds, and a shield absorbs one hit. Clearing a wave earns a bonus, and every 5th wave brings a boss with a health bar.

Controls

Arrow keys or A/D to move, Space to fire (or leave Auto-fire on), P or Esc to pause. On touch, drag anywhere on the playfield to steer and tap to fire.

Privacy and saves

Runs entirely in your browser with no network requests. Best score and the auto-fire setting are stored only in this browser's localStorage.
